The Coordinators are responsible for a variety of projects that support the breadth of responsibilities of the Office of Registration & Scheduling Services (ORSS). These positions contribute to transfer evaluation, year-round catalog production, aspects of special programming, degree progress report programming, overall database management, and general project coordination that advance the academic support mission of ORSS. The Coordinators works collaboratively with the registrar, associate registrars, and colleagues across campus to coordinate transfer credit evaluations, catalog maintenance, and degree progress.

Within this shared framework, individual Coordinators will hold distinct focus areas to best serve the needs of the office (Transfer & Academic Coordinator and Degree Progress Coordinator). These focus areas may include responsibilities such as leading elements of catalog production, enhancing database management, advancing degree progress programming, or developing effective strategies for transfer populations. By aligning their efforts with the registrar and associate registrars, each Coordinator contributes both to the overall mission of the office and to the enrollment, retention, and success of students at the university.

The Office of Registration & Scheduling Services supports the instructional mission of the University by providing key services to students, faculty, academic and administrative departments, and to the public. Services include records management, course, classroom, and final exam scheduling, student registrations, grade processing, transcript issuance, ensuring FERPA compliance, recording such critical functions as academic honors, sanctions, dismissals, and much more.

These are full-time positions on the Gorham campus, with a starting annual salary of $44,000.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 1-3 years’ experience in a higher education setting or equivalent combination of education and experience.
