Responsible for calling all company provided leads and selling the loan products offered by Finance of America Reverse (FAR) by meeting and calling on clients, referral sources, and business prospects. 

Purpose of Role

Responsible for serving as the Financial Change Management Leader and Process Owner for Finance of America and instituting and safeguarding a rigorous, best-in-class change management framework for the Workday Financials ecosystem (inclusive of Workday Adaptive and Accounting Center). Also responsible for collaborating with financial process and data owners to ensure secure, and strategically advantageous utilization of financial platforms. Finally, this position will be responsible for developing and managing a Center of Excellence to promote training, adoption, and optimized deployment of these systems.

  • Conducts the intake, analysis, and evaluation of financial system modification requests.
  • Administers configuration changes and updates while upholding segregation-of-duties protocols.
  • Ensures comprehensive documentation of approved authorizations, business rationale, data definitions, and business process linkages.
  • Partners with data owners to elevate data governance through robust dimension documentation, codification of business rules, articulation of logical relationships, and leveraging systemic edits and validations.
  • Coordinates integration imperatives between business stakeholders of Workday Financials and the Finance Technology team.
  • Collaborates with Information Technology and Financial Controls/SOX Compliance teams to define Workday Financials roles and ensure appropriate assignment.
  • Serves as the subject-matter expert in Workday Financials, developing training programs and fostering engagement with the Workday Community.
  • Develops and maintains the library of core reporting templates while facilitating end-user training.
  • Designs and implements robust and controlled change management models; ensures readiness for periodic system releases.
  • Provides input during project scoping, prioritization, and governance for the Finance Technology team agenda.
  • Develops and communicates a forward-looking roadmap for the expansion of system capabilities.

  • SVP, Accounting and Corporate Controller

  • 2- 4 analysts from Finance and Accounting teams

Qualifications – Experience/Skills/Competencies

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in finance, accounting or financial services.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience working directly with enterprise financial systems
  • Minimum 2 years of recent experience configuring Workday Financials or integration oversight.
  • Minimum 4 years of recent experience focusing on change management initiatives in a financial or technology environment.
  • Minimum 3 years in a supervisory role building and managing teams.
  • Extensive experience administering and governing formalized change management processes.
  • Experience leading and motivating cross-functional teams to adopt financial systems and best practices.
  • Ability to articulate complex financial and technical concepts in a clear, concise, and persuasive manner to executives and non-technical staff.
  • Strong presentation and storytelling skills to influence stakeholders and drive adoption
  • Resilient in navigating organizational transformation, system upgrades, and regulatory shifts.
  • Skilled at guiding others through ambiguity and change, fostering confidence and buy-in.
  • Analytical mindset to assess risks, weigh trade-offs, and recommend solutions.

Compensation

The base salary range for this position is ($175,000 - $225,000) inclusive of all geographical differences in the labor market. The base salary for the position will be determined based on factors such as the candidate’s work location, skills, education, and experience. In addition to those factors, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider the internal equity of our current team members in determining any final offer.
