We’re seeking an experienced Parts Manager to lead our parts department operations. This individual will play a key role in ensuring our customers and technicians have the parts they need, while building strong relationships and driving departmental growth.

What You’ll Do

As a Parts Manager, you’ll:

  • Oversee daily operations of the parts department to ensure timely service for internal jobs and external customers.
  • Monitor P&L statements, performance metrics, and inventory accuracy.
  • Develop and implement pricing strategies that align with company goals and customer loyalty.
  • Cultivate and grow vendor and customer relationships, including weekly customer visits and hosting appreciation events.
  • Lead the team in efficient operations, reducing waste, and forecasting department goals.
  • Manage invoices, inventory levels, cores, warranties, and obsolescence while maintaining compliance with environmental and safety guidelines.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, recalls, and product updates, and train your team accordingly.

Leadership Responsibilities

  • Train, coach, and evaluate a team of parts counter personnel, warehouse staff, and drivers.
  • Assign work schedules to ensure strong coverage and performance.
  • Provide regular performance feedback, including improvement plans when needed.
  • Manage payroll, time off requests, all employee matters related to hiring and development.
  • Conduct weekly or bi-weekly team meetings to communicate goals, address challenges, and celebrate successes.

Qualifications:

What We’re Looking For:

  • 3+ years of experience in parts management in the trucking or heavy equipment industry.
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Valid Driver's License with ability to meet insurance requirements is required.
  • Familiarity with diesel engines, drivetrains, braking systems, and DOT compliance parts.
  • Proficiency in parts catalog systems, inventory software, and DMS platforms.
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of fleet maintenance practices or commercial vehicle service environments.
  • OSHA and DOT regulation awareness related to parts storage and handling.
  • Must participate in background check and drug screen.

Pay Range: $63,126.42 - $94,689.62 per year with incentive eligibility
