Position Summary

RedBuilt is seeking a dynamic, selfless, and process-driven Sales Trainer to lead the development and delivery of a sustainable, scalable sales training program for our Western Commercial Sales team. This individual will be instrumental in onboarding new and developing sales professionals - including Technical Sales Reps, Inside Sales Reps, and Project Managers - and equipping them with the tools, knowledge, and mindset to succeed in a rapidly evolving technical sales environment.
 
This role is ideal for someone who thrives on educating others, enjoys coaching and mentoring, and is passionate about driving growth and change through innovative training practices. The Sales Trainer will be a key player in shaping the future of sales at RedBuilt, teaching modern, customer-centric approaches that align with our strategic initiatives and cultural values.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead onboarding for new sales hires across multiple roles.
    • Deliver engaging training sessions to new and existing sales associates, both in-person and online, including accompanying new representatives on sales calls within their respective markets.
  • Present to groups of all sizes with confidence and clarity.
  • Design and implement a replicable, sustainable sales training system that focuses on the RedBuilt value proposition and implements best practices used by succesful representatives.Create training materials, presentations, and tools tailored to RedBuilt’s sales strategy.
  • Continuously improve training content based on feedback and performance metrics.
    • Partner with HR, IT, Business Development, Operations, and other departments to ensure alignment and integration of training programs. Provide feedback on development and performance progress.
    • Support strategic initiatives through training that drives behavioral and performance change. Work with sales management to benchmark performance and knowledge goals and monitor continuous improvement.
  • Encourage a growth mindset and curiosity among sales team members.
  • Champion modern sales techniques that focus on building relationships and delivering value.

Qualifications

  • Proven success in a sales role, preferably in a technical or commercial environment.
  • Strong presentation and facilitation skills; comfortable speaking to diverse audiences.
  • Experience designing and delivering training programs and materials.
  • Highly organized and process-oriented with a knack for building scalable systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Collaborative team player with a problem-solving mindset.
  • Passionate about teaching, coaching, and making a meaningful impact.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Education, or a related field. Commensurate experience also considered.
  • 5+ years of experience in a sales role or supporting the sales function, with a proven track record of success, preferably in a technical or commercial sales environment.
  • Experience designing and delivering sales training programs, including onboarding, curriculum development, and facilitation is a plus.
  • Demonstrated experience creating training materials, presentations, and tools for diverse audiences.
  • Experience and success working in a cross-functional environment
  • Familiarity with modern sales methodologies and tools; comfortable teaching innovative, customer-centric approaches.
  • Experience with virtual training platforms and learning management systems (LMS) is preferred.?

Reports To: Director of Western Commercial Sales, dotted line to HR Business Partner

Location: Remote

FLSA Classification: Exempt

Travel: 25 - 50%

Compensation: DOE
