Warehouse Associate en Inovata Foods

Inovata Foods Corp. is looking for a full-time Warehouse Associate to partner with us as we bring families and friends together through offering wholesome and convenient meals. This role works 7:00am - 3:30pm, Monday - Friday, and is located in our Edmonton, Alberta facility. Inovata Foods Corp. is a major producer of wholesome control brand frozen meals for many of North America’s largest retailers.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Complete all shipping and receiving duties
• Safely operate a reach truck, forklift and pallet jack
• Maintain detailed reports for the transfer of goods
• Stage ingredients for production line and various departments
• Assist with all warehouse duties as required
• Sweeping, mopping and cleaning
• Stack meat with other team members (lift up to 60 pounds)

Requirements:

• Must have Reach Truck Certification and/or experience (if a suitable candidate can not be found we will be willing to train the right candidate wanting to learn)
• Must have valid Forklift Certification (if a suitable candidate can not be found we will be willing to train the right candidate wanting to learn)
• Experience working in a warehouse environment with receiving and shipping
• Experience in a manufacturing facility considered an asset
• Attention to detail and an eye for a high level of accuracy
• Excellent communication skills both oral and written

Working Conditions

We strive to help our team members maintain a positive balance between life and work. This position has daily exposure to a food processing environment which includes dampness and cold. Position may require varying start times and extended working hours with occasional weekends to facilitate customer presentations and attendance and production trials and first runs.
