With a strong commitment to customer satisfaction, operational excellence, and innovative business practices, we’re seeking a strategic and hands-on IT Help Desk specialist to support our team.
Position Summary
As the IT Help Desk specialist, you will be the first line of support to our employees for any of their IT-related needs, with a heavy emphasis on managing devices and licenses. You will have a heavy emphasis on customer service as you troubleshoot issues, process new computer requests, and ensure our dealership staff have 99.99% uptime. Based at our corporate office in Eugene, Oregon, this role will work closely with the IT Team to drive innovation and operational success through technology.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide a high level of customer service and support with dealership staff to troubleshoot issues
- Process new device and new software requests within company guidelines and communicate with dealership employees on status
- Work with IT team members to oversee networks, servers, cloud services, and cybersecurity
- Work with IT team members to ensure compliance with regulatory standards (e.g., FTC Safeguards Rule, data privacy laws)
- Limited travel as necessary to dealership locations, particularly for installs at new locations or remodels
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field – Would consider someone with a lesser or technical degree if they had more experience. Such as “Bachelor’s degree or 12 years minimum experience in related field”
- Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, networking, cloud platforms, and cybersecurity
- Experience setting up and managing Laptops, PC Workstations, IP Printers, tablets and mobile devices.
- Experience with Ubiquity UniFi Dream Machines and Access Points a plus
- Experience with SD-WAN networking a plus
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to travel occasionally to dealership locations
