POSITION PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
The Quality Review Analyst will primarily be responsible for the administrative functions of Commercial Loan Administration related to regulatory requirements. This position is responsible for ensuring that all HMDA/CRA records are accurately completed during the application process to make sure all policies & procedures are being followed. Additionally, this position will also assist the manager and the other employees within the Department in the production of various reports, etc.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• Minimum of 3 years of commercial loan operation and/or commercial loan documentation experience required.
• Minimum of 3 years of commercial loan regulatory guidelines experience as it pertains to HMDA & CRA preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and internet applications.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Review denied/counteroffer loan applications daily to ensure compliance within regulatory guidelines.
• Review Post Closing daily to perform the final HMDA/CRA quality review.
• Manage current Commercial Loan pipeline to ensure stale applications are handled appropriately.
• Conduct a final review of HMDA/CRA data integrity monthly and compile an error report for Department Management.
• Act as single point of contact with the Compliance Department regarding HMDA/CRA.
• Review 100% of commercial loan applications prior to close out to ensure absolute accuracy with regards to HMDA/CRA regulatory guidelines and ensure that no files have been missed.
• Create, administer, and disseminate turn time metrics and reports within Commercial Loan Administration. Develop process improvements with departmental managers based on this information.
• Work with the Compliance Department in a collaborative manner on any Compliance audits as required.
• Ensure and validate that the policies and procedures for Quality Control are updated and maintained.
• Assist the QC Department in the production of the various reports that the Department produces, i.e., financial covenant tracking, override, and extension SLC reports, etc.
• Assist the QC Department with appraisal reviews and revalidations when volume is heavy to keep turn times at acceptable levels.
• Maintain a working knowledge of compliance requirements affecting your position and area of responsibilities and actively learn new regulations and assist in the implementation, if required.

INTERPERSONAL SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES REQUIRED
• Must have effective communication (written and verbal) skills to adequately convey reports, findings, etc. related to job function.
• Must be able to make decisions regarding compliance requirements and determine potential compliance implications for various situations.
• Must be self-motivated and work in a team environment.
• Requires a high energy level and strong sense of urgency; ability to work with situations on a “rush” notice.
• Strong attention to detail & organizational skills.
• Excellent ability to deal with client’s issues, questions and/or complaints.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS
• Travel between Republic Banking facilities may be required including occasional out of town travel.
• Flexible work schedule may include some evenings, weekends and/or overtime.
• Stay abreast of new developments, best practices, and statutory and regulatory changes.
