An overview of this position entails…This position provides safe transportation of residents and equipment for Hilltop Senior Life Options. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Transporting residents and their necessary equipment to various locations such as doctor, hospital, shopping, Senior Daybreak, etc. and ensuring residents arrive safely and in a timely manner.

2. Follow all safety regulations while safely transporting residents.

3. Safety and security in driving behavior and operation of vehicles and lifts is critical.

4. Regularly cleaning vehicles and performing preventative maintenance inspections as required.

5. Reporting any problems or accidents to the supervisor immediately.

6. Following guidelines in the Transportation Handbook located on each vehicle.

7. Work with the Transportation Coordinator to arrange alternative transportation when needed.

8. Assist other departments as needed.

9. Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED); or one to three months related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES & REGISTRATIONS

• CPR Certificate/First Aid Certificate

• Hilltop’s Transportation Certification

• Valid Colorado Driver’s License

• Must be at least 21 years old

• Tuberculosis (Tb) Skin Test

• Influenza Vaccination

• Any other required vaccination
