JOB DESCRIPTION
Position Title: Race Crew
Reports To: Race Crew Manager
Department: Special Events: Race Crew
Classification: Seasonal
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Role Responsibilities:
- Set-up, tear down and maintain racecourses and on-mountain competition venues.
- Provide physical and logistical support for JHMR signature events on-mountain or in base area.
- Support in the operation and maintenance of electric timing systems.
- Ensure safety of all courses & venues.
- Troubleshoot timing and communication equipment.
- Repair race material, i.e. gates, fencing, and tools.
- Execute partner activations and events.
- Support friendly and welcoming guest interactions at events and activations.

Are you the right fit? Below are some traits an exemplary candidate possesses.
- Ski racing, freestyle and/or freeride competition knowledge are preferred.
- Basic construction skills are helpful, not required.
- Strong Alpine skiing/riding ability required.
- Ability to carry up to 50 pounds while skiing/riding required.
- USSA coaching or Alpine Official rating preferred.
- High School Graduate or G.E.D. equivalent required.
- Valid Driver's License required.
- Previous Race Crew or on-mountain work experience preferred.
Equipment, Environment, & Physical Requirements:
- Skis, Drills, Hand tools, Snowmobiles (Valid Driver’s License Required), Computer timers, Pop-up Tents
- This is a job requiring the capability to do difficult physical work under the most extreme winter alpine conditions.
