Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with media, influencers and industry experts
- Participate in the development and execution of strategic communication campaigns to achieve exceptional brand visibility and results
- Generate regular media placements across a variety of platforms, including print, digital, and social media
- Contribute to the preparation and seamless execution of events, including high-profile launches and partnerships
- Conduct comprehensive research to support innovative client strategies and inform new business proposals
- Track, analyse and report on press and social media coverage on regular basis
- Provide administrative support, ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of agendas, recaps, and reports
- Contribute to creative and strategic brainstorming sessions
- Identify and capitalise on emerging trends, ensuring clients remain ahead of the curve
- Manage regular product requests and proactive seedings, as well as creative mailers
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- PR experience within a fast-paced agency or comparable industry sector is preferable but not necessary if transferable skills are apparent
- Demonstrated understanding and ongoing interest in media relations and the beauty industry
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining meticulous attention to detail
- Strong initiative and ability to work autonomously, delivering results with little supervision
- Advanced organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency in Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Google Docs
- A strategic mindset combined with creativity, driving innovative approaches to PR challenges
