Senior Accountant en Accounting & Business Advisory

We’re searching for an experienced Senior Accountant or Manager in public practice to join our Gympie team!  You can be based in Gympie or commute from the Sunshine Coast (only a short drive).

What will your typical week look like? 

In this role, you will focus on delivering outstanding client engagement while supporting and developing our dedicated team.

• Review complex special purpose reports, annual financial statements, tax returns and reconciliations for companies, partnerships, trusts and a range of individual businesses 
• Prepare cash flows and monthly management reports for clients 
• Provide strategic business advice for clients and get involved with commercial advisory projects with experienced partners 
• Work closely with Partners to ensure work is completed accurately and in a timely manner 
• Mentor and coach junior team members

Let’s talk about you!  

You are someone with…

• Public practice experience
• Achieved CA or CPA qualification or be working towards this 
• Strong commercial acumen with sound technical accounting and analytical skills 
• Ability to develop positive relationships with key stakeholders and clients 
• Strong cloud accounting product knowledge (i.e. Xero, MYOB, Excel) 
• Fantastic people skills, an outgoing personality, and a passion for accounting and business advisory services
