Job Summary Overview


The position is responsible for managing and leading the Consumer Loan Servicing team to deliver fulfillment services and expertise to members and staff regarding loan processing, funding, and post funding tasks. 

Essential Job Functions

  • Manages departmental member and business partner escalations to ensure a positive member experience.
  • Responsible to meet all risk and compliance rules and regulations around vehicle title perfection and credit risk in the loan fulfillment process. 
  • Develops, implements monitoring tools to capture service levels and error rates. Identifies source of errors and work closely with Retail, Operations, Sales, Underwriting and Training to implement solutions that support organizational goals.
  • Accountability for compliance audit completion and quality controls for all servicing and closing functions.
  • Develops a team that is prepared to be the first to execute new processes, procedures, or technology and to provide feedback to impact change.  
  • Reviews and analyzes consumer loan queues to identify opportunities to increase loan disbursals. Facilitates procedural and operational changes that create efficiencies, mitigate risk/improve accuracy, and improves processes/experiences for members. 
  • Accountable for analyzing and validating the quality and integrity of processes, practices, and systems throughout consumer loan processing, funding, and maintenance. 
  • Develops accountability measures within loan servicing to share knowledge and communicate understanding of business activities within branches and support segments.
  • Ensures operational soundness through adherence to policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines. Serves as communicator of organizational change and be proactive to ensure consistency throughout the credit union related to operational processes.
  • Ability to problem solve based on strong analytical and technical skills. Professional written and oral communication skills, along with the ability to produce quality results within sensitive time frames while managing multiple tasks.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.


Position Required Qualifications


Minimum Education and Experience

High School diploma or general education degree (GED). Three (3) years of experience in a financial institution and two (2) years’ experience in consumer lending. Two (2) years supervisory/managerial experience or two (2) year supervisory/managerial experience at Arizona Financial. 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Knowledge of PC software applications in Windows, Word, and Excel. Ability to type 35 words per minute. Ability to read, write, speak, and use proper grammar in English. Ability to read, analyze and interpret technical procedures, financial reports, legal documents, and government regulations. Ability to write business correspondence in response to sensitive inquiries or complaints. Ability to communicate verbally both in person and on the telephone. Ability to speak effectively presenting information to groups of membership, management, and board of directors. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to calculate rates, ratios, and percentages.

  • Regularly required to stand, walk, sit, climb or balance; use hands to finger keys accurately when using calculator machines or computer keyboards; reach with hands and arms.

  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distant vision, and color vision. 
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. 
  • Must be able to travel independently to department and branch locations.
