- Compensation: Up to $120,000

- Partners with Corporate Talent Acquisition team to ensure optimal staffing to meet labor plans, including initiating requisitions, screening, interviewing, and securing offer approvals.
- Foster manager development through coaching within a fast growing and continuously improving environment.
- Coach managers on progressive discipline and performance discussions, in line with labor laws and company policies.
- Lead and continuously improve the plant’s new hire onboarding program with an objective of ensuring all new hires receive a proper introduction to the company, their location and their job throughout their first 90 days.
- Drive the plant’s annual goal setting and performance review process, in collaboration with corporate talent management team.
- Prioritize safety by promoting accident prevention, managing incidents, and overseeing workers’ compensation claims and return to work program.
- Provide HR data and turnover reports to support data-driven decisions, addressing staffing needs and enhancing talent retention.
- Collaborate with the Plant General Manager to align HR plans with business needs, adjusting as required.
- Coordinate HR initiatives across departments and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
- Oversee the annual merit process and manage leave of absence processes (e.g., STD, FMLA).
- Advise management on HR matters, challenge assumptions, and make independent recommendations as needed.
- Develop and update local plant policies, ensuring they reflect organizational values and best practices.
- Model and promote MCC’s Core Values and True Colors.
- Engage in special projects and perform other assigned duties.
- Undergraduate degree in Human Resources or related discipline is preferred but not required.
- 5+ years of HR generalist experience highly preferred; Recruiting experience in a manufacturing environment a plus.
- Working knowledge of regulatory, legal and statutory rules governing employment and labor law.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- High energy level and ability to marshal resources to accomplish projects, tasks and change initiatives.
- Exceptional customer focus and ability to build effective working relationships at all organizational levels.
- Ability to adapt to changing environments and competing priorities.
