Our Listed & Unlisted Asset Management team is responsible for sector strategy, partner selection, management of real assets, and fostering strategic partnerships to deliver strong investment outcomes for our clients. About the Role
Reporting to the Head of Listed & Alternative Markets, this role will play a key role in the management and implementation of TCorp’s listed and private equity strategies, as well as supporting the research on liquid alternatives strategies.
You will lead the investment due diligence, selection, governance approval and ongoing monitoring of third-party managers, and foster strong partnerships to drive investment performance for our clients.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing the implementation of listed and private equity strategies through third-party managers
- Supporting the management of alternatives strategies (hedge funds and alternative risk premia strategies)
- Leading manager search, selection, monitoring, and review processes
- Collaborating on sector research and strategy design across equity, credit, fixed income, and alternatives
- Fostering and managing partnerships with external managers
- Supporting ongoing monitoring and evaluation of investment portfolios
- Contributing to TCorp’s competition for capital and Total Portfolio Approach
Key Capabilities and Experience
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- Over 10 years’ experience in investment management, with a strong working knowledge of processes and disciplines from asset owners, asset managers, or investment/asset consultants
- Demonstrated expertise in constructing active multi-manager and multi-strategy portfolios, with a focus on investment risk
- Strong quantitative analysis skills, including investment return modelling and portfolio evaluation
- Experience in manager research and analysis, particularly in equities and alternatives
- Proficiency in reviewing portfolio reporting and exposures, and proactively identifying risks and opportunities
- Excellent relationship management and communication skills, with the ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline
