Safety Governance & Compliance
Ensure compliance with Factories Act, OHSAS/ISO 45001, environmental norms, and other applicable statutory requirements.
Conduct regular inspections, audits, and permit-to-work (PTW) monitoring in the assigned area.
Ensure timely reporting and closure of unsafe conditions/acts.
Risk Management & Control
Identify hazards, assess risks, and implement control measures in the allocated area.
Develop Job Safety Analysis (JSA), SOPs, and ensure adherence during operations.
Monitor usage of PPEs and promote safe work practices.
Incident Management
Lead investigation of accidents, near misses, and unsafe incidents.
Prepare reports, recommend corrective/preventive actions, and ensure closure within timelines.
Training & Awareness
Conduct toolbox talks, safety inductions, and refresher training for employees and contractors.
Drive area-specific campaigns on fire safety, emergency preparedness, and first aid.
Emergency Preparedness
Maintain readiness of fire-fighting systems, alarms, and safety equipment in the area.
Support mock drills and coordinate with Fire & Safety team for effective response.
