POSITION: Information Technology (IT) Support Specialist JOB CODE: ITITT OCCUPATIONAL GROUPING: Information Technology REPORTS TO: Business Operations Manager CLASSIFICATION: Exempt POSITION TYPE: Full Time/Full Year (12-Months) SALARY GRADE: 35 MONTHLY SALARY RANGE: $4,995.87 to $6,395.14 BI-WEEKLY SALARY RANGE: $2,305.79 to $2,951.60 LOCATION: City of Industry, CA PROGRAM SUMMARY Plaza de la Raza Child Development Services, Inc. (Plaza) is a comprehensive early childhood education program with a focus on school readiness for children zero to five years of age. Developmentally appropriate services are provided for children from low-income families, zero to five years of age. Plaza de la Raza currently serves over 650 children and their families. DEFINITION Under general direction this position administers computer systems, including servers, networks, and security, and troubleshoots a variety of technical support problems involving all users, performs relational database management, assesses needs and provides user training and works with management staff. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Education: Equivalent to a bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, including the use of Management Information Systems (MIS) and a broad variety of other types of specialized software programs. Experience: Two years of network, systems, security, and user support experience using varied hardware and software and computer applications.
