Lorain County Community College (LCCC) is seeking applicants for a full-time professional technical position within the Health and Wellness Sciences division. LCCC is looking for innovative student-centered individuals whose responsibilities include, but are not limited to: teaching clinical and laboratory components of courses across the registered nursing or licensed practical nursing programs ;participating in nursing curriculum development and assessment including program review; advising students and assessing student achievement; participating in college governance; engaging in scholarship and professional growth; and supporting the LCCC mission vision and values. Incumbent must be willing to work some evenings and/or weekends as needed and travel to outreach programs. Must be able to work at various clinical agencies utilized by Lorain County Community College nursing programs.

Explain the importance of community colleges in nursing education and strategies for ensuring all students feel included and supported.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications: Master’s degree in nursing with current clinical and teaching experience; * Based on the Ohio Nurse Practice Act (Ohio Code 4723-5-01) - Experience for at least two years in the practice of registered nursing; Applicant must have a current registered nursing license that has no restrictions or board actions;
Applicant must be able to meet all onboarding requirements of various clinical agencies utilized by Lorain County Community College nursing programs.
Preferred Qualifications: Distance learning experience and certification as a nurse educator preferred.
