ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Monitor food safety programs
- Perform sampling procedures and record data
- Monitor and inspect boxes staged for export loads to meet specific country requirements
- Inspect and monitor incoming and returned product
- Monitor working environment
- Maintain daily records
- Collaborate with production and maintenance to implement food safety programs
- Perform weight checks, procedure verification checks, calibration procedures
- Maintain a positive attendance record by demonstrating consistent and punctual attendance on a regular basis
- Perform other related duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be able to read, write and speak English
- Ability to prioritize tasks
- Must have basic computer skills
EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION:
- Minimum 6 months experience in a production environment, preferably meat/food production
- Minimum 6 months experience in Quality Assurance
