The City of West Hollywood is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Engineering Permit Technician to join the Engineering Division of the Public Works Department. In this role, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient use of the City's public right-of-way through the issuance and management of encroachment permits, along with other related technical and administrative functions.

This position requires 100% On-site work and is not eligible for telework or a hybrid work schedule.
Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week, e.g., 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Reports to: Principal Civil Engineer
Minimum Qualifications
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university in engineering or related field; and,
- Two (2) to three (3) years of progressively responsible related experience including issuing permits at a public counter; or, progressively responsible experience in municipal construction or related field; or,
- Any combination of education, training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the essential functions of the job.
