The Opportunity
- The Sourcing Specialist manages the daily business of Manufacturing from initial concept to FC delivery. Responsibility is to work side by side with the Sourcing Manager to focus and align the Global Sourcing multiple strategies to meet the customer demands by offering the highest quality product at the best value possible.
- Develop samples in all apparel categories, negotiation of pricing, delivery and terms for businesses as assigned in the primary function. Through daily email communication with our offices, agents, and direct suppliers, build relationships with our sourcing partners to ensure implementation of QRG's standards and procedures, adherence to calendar milestones and proactive identification of issues that could influence the business.
- Partner with design, technical design and buying team members to ensure seamless development processes are in place and maintained. Partner with QA and Supply Chain to ensure processes are in place to ensure uninterrupted flow of merchandise.
- You will report to the Manager, Global Sourcing and work in the office 2-3 days per week at our West Chester Headquarters.

Your Impact
- Take ownership of the calendar at a brand level and managing the daily operations of the sourcing functions.
- Identify opportunities and ensure flow of product development throughout teams.
- Analyze vendors TNA's to minimize lead time. Develop product based on a given price point.
- Understand construction, use and quality expectations across diverse product categories; understand the cost engineering concept to better negotiate and influence final cost outcomes.
- Collaborate with CFT and vendors to secure resolutions before proto review meeting with a focus on driving product newness.
- Provide workable cost options to buying and design teams that maintain overall design and buyer goals.
- Review proposed cost target from assistant/associate sourcing specialist as it relates to total business (inclusive of new orders and material management goals).
- Collaborate to develop BRAND-centric strategies across multiple vendors and regions.
What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree
- 8+ years of experience in apparel product development, production and sourcing.
Remote work is not permitted in NYC at this time.
