Summit Golf Brands is focused on providing the green grass channel superior product, unique decoration methods and unparalleled customer service across multiple brands. It is the company behind three of the golf industry's leading apparel brands: B. Draddy, Zero Restriction, and Fairway & Greene.
Summit Golf Brands is currently in the process of optimizing our product lifecycle processes and requires the expertise of a Freelance Centric PLM Specialist and has a strong understanding of data structuring, migration, and configuration to assist with database development and configuration within the Centric PLM platform. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with our internal teams to build out and maintain PLM databases that support our product development and go-to-market workflows.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define PLM data requirements.
- Assist in the setup, configuration, and population of Centric PLM databases.
- Create and maintain attribute libraries, BOMs, material/trim libraries, size charts, and other relevant data structures.
- Clean, map, and migrate legacy data into Centric PLM.
- Ensure database structures support accurate reporting and product development needs.
- Troubleshoot and resolve data issues as they arise.
- Provide guidance on PLM best practices and process optimization.
- Document all database configurations and workflows for future reference.
Experience Requirements
- Proven experience working with Centric Software PLM, ideally in a setup, admin, or implementation role.
- Strong understanding of PLM systems in the context of product development, sourcing, and supply chain.
- Experience with data structuring, database creation, and data migration.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and documentation skills.
- Comfortable working independently and managing deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate across teams.
- Experience in the fashion apparel industry.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Excel-based data migration tools or PLM API integrations.
- Familiarity with related systems such as ERP.
- Experience training teams or creating user documentation.
