Job Description:

Ready to make a real impact in the future of nuclear energy? Join us at EDF UK as a Fleet Training Support Specialist and help shape the training that powers our nuclear operations. If you're passionate about learning, data, and driving excellence, this is your chance to be part of something truly meaningful.

The Opportunity

As a Fleet Training Support Specialist, you’ll be at the heart of the Nuclear Skills Alliance, supporting the delivery of training across EDF’s nuclear fleet. You’ll work closely with training teams and specialists to ensure smooth operations and effective learning experiences.

Reporting to the Specialist and Reporting Group Head, and supporting Hinkley Point C course delivery, you’ll provide expert guidance on training matters and play a key role in enabling our long-term nuclear ambitions.

Contractually based at our Gloucester Business Park offices. This opportunity does offer hybrid working. You will be expected in the office 2 days a week and further travel to our sites, when needed.

Pay, Benefits & Culture

The salary range associated with this role is between £35,059 - £48,943. You’ll be appointed based on the parameters outlined in the Company Agreement as well as your existing salary, competence, experience and qualifications.  We’re talking about everything from enhanced parental leave to electric vehicle leasing, health insurance to product discounts, critical illness insurance to technology vouchers, gym membership to season ticket loans.

At EDF UK, we embrace flexibility while recognising that everyone's working needs are different. Whether you're in our office spaces, on site, or working remotely, we promote an environment that supports collaboration, connection, and comfort. No matter where you are, our priority is to make sure you feel safe, valued, and celebrated.

Here, we do right by each other and everyone’s welcome. We’re on an action-oriented journey, championing equity, diversity, and inclusion. We’d like our future workforce to have an equal gender balance, represent a broad mix of people from minority ethnic backgrounds, LGBTQ+, those with a disability and supporting social mobility.

We’re a disability confident employer and we’ll do all we can to help with your application. Please let us know if you need to request reasonable adjustments.

We take pride in fostering a dynamic and inclusive environment, where the diverse backgrounds and experiences of our employees drive fresh thinking and innovation. We understand that success means different things to different people. We believe there are multiple definitions of what it means to succeed. That’s why we support you to pursue a career that’s unique to you. Because success is personal.

What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll be the go-to expert for managing and updating training course details, permissions, and codes, ensuring everything runs smoothly across our Learning Management System (LMS). Your keen eye for data will help maintain accuracy and support reporting needs.

You’ll coordinate CAP and Insight meetings, resolve LMS issues, and support cross-licensee role allocations. Your work will directly impact the efficiency and quality of our training delivery.

From training users on LMS to maintaining guides and exploring process improvements, you’ll be a central figure in driving excellence and innovation in our training systems.

Who You Are

You’re highly organised, a natural planner, and thrive in collaborative environments. Your experience with Microsoft Office and digital tools makes you confident in handling data and solving problems effectively.

You bring analytical skills and a proactive mindset, with a passion for improving systems and processes. Experience with Learning Management Systems and knowledge of the Systematic Approach to Training would be a bonus, but not essential.

As a minimum, candidates will need to be educated to a GCSE/National Qualification standard (or equivalent) candidates with these qualifications that include “4” and above grade passes in English and Maths will have an advantage.

Closing date for applications is 1st October. Interviews (via Teams) taking place w/c 12th October.
