Job Summary
The Director of the Premier Service Division (PSD) will be responsible for leading the creation, launch, and expansion of the PSD. This role requires strong leadership, business development, and operational management skills to build the division from the ground up and establish scalable practices for national implementation.
Responsibilities
During the term of your agreement, we expect you to achieve the following goals:
- Work with the CEO to develop business plans for the creation of a Premier Service Division “PSD”
- Start up the PSD in the Los Angeles area, setting up the initial warehouse and recruiting labor for all functions.
- Develop a pricing strategy and obtain new clients for the PSD
- Create standard operating procedures (SOP’s) for the PSD that can be used at other locations nationally.
- Train all nominated locations nationally to follow the SOP’s and follow up regularly.
- Other tasks and duties to manage and grow the Division as agreed to by you and manager
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field
- 10+ years of experience in warehouse operations management
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS)
- Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures
