 We are seeking an experienced Senior PMO Leader/Project Manager to lead a critical PMO Turnaround and Transformation initiative. This role requires a strong balance of strategic advisory skills and hands-on implementation expertise to assess the current PMO, provide recommendations, and execute improvements. The successful candidate will be highly skilled in navigating executive-level environments while driving real change.

In this role, you will: 

  • Conduct a comprehensive assessment of the current PMO, identifying gaps, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.
  • Develop and deliver actionable recommendations, strategies, and roadmaps for a transformed PMO function.
  • Oversee the implementation of PMO changes, including governance, processes, tools, and reporting frameworks.
  • Serve as a senior advisor to executives, including the CIO, senior business leaders, and enterprise stakeholders.
  • Collaborate closely with E&Y and other strategic vendor partners to ensure alignment and delivery of outcomes.
  • Manage senior stakeholder communications, building trust and credibility at the C-suite and board levels.
  • Ensure the PMO evolves into a value-driven, high-performing function that supports enterprise priorities.

 

Who You Are: 

  • 12+ years of experience in project/program management and PMO leadership.
  • Proven track record of standing up, evolving, or turning around PMO organizations in large, complex enterprises.
  • Strong executive presence with the ability to influence and engage at the CIO and C-suite level.
  • Hands-on ability to design, implement, and operationalize PMO processes, governance models, and tools.
  • Experience working with Big 4 consulting partners (e.g., E&Y) and managing large vendor relationships.
  • Exceptional communication, advisory, and stakeholder management skills.
  • PMP, PgMP, or similar certifications preferred.
