THE ROLE
Are you a seasoned product leader with a deep technical background and a passion for shaping products from the inside out? We're looking for a Principal Product Manager to be the critical link between the customer, the market, and our core engineering teams. In this role, you will be responsible for defining the future of FlashBlade//EXA, Pure Storage's most advanced platform engineered for the extreme performance, scale, and efficiency demanded by modern AI and HPC infrastructure. You'll drive the product roadmap, ensuring sustainable and compelling differentiation that empowers organizations to innovate at the speed of data.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Define and drive the product roadmap and feature prioritization for FlashBlade//EXA, translating customer needs, competitive analysis, and market trends into clear, actionable requirements for our engineering teams.
Shape the future product strategy with sustainable and compelling differentiation, ensuring our offerings remain at the forefront of the AI and HPC storage market.
Collaborate closely with the executive team to establish project scope and goals, providing strategic leadership that drives the overall success of the FlashBlade//EXA product line.
Engage with key account field sales teams, channel partners, and customers to gather direct feedback and foster an active ecosystem that informs product development and supports sales enablement.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
A proven track record of driving successful, enterprise-class storage products from concept to launch, with a deep technical understanding of storage environments, deployments, and use cases.
Strategic leadership and a strong business acumen, with the ability to develop a clear vision, strategy, and execution plan for a product line.
Exceptional communication and executive presence, capable of influencing both technical and business stakeholders and presenting complex information clearly and concisely.
The ability to think both strategically and tactically, taking ownership of initiatives and driving results in a fast-paced environment with multiple shifting priorities.
We are primarily an in-office environment and therefore, you will be expected to work from the Santa Clara, CA office in compliance with Pure’s policies, unless you are on PTO, or work travel, or other approved leave.

Salary ranges are determined based on role, level and location. For positions open to candidates in multiple geographical locations, the base salary range is reflective of the labor market across the applicable locations.
This role may be eligible for incentive pay and/or equity.
