Job Description:
In the Finance and Corporate Strategy team we ensure that the business’s capital strategies are operationally supported and strategically focused. This is how we work to secure the greatest return on investment for the global company. By gathering and analyzing financial data, we can influence decisions within the business, drive initiatives, and help ensure alignment with our wider objectives. Scope/complexity of work:
Cash Application:
Allocate cash against the invoices raised by the Sales Office.
Follow-up for missing remit details.
Monthly execution of journal entries as per JE policy.
Processing:
AR GL Recon and clearing
IDOC: Fallout Monitoring and work towards reconciling between Subsystems to LH / identify fallouts/ work with IT / Deep support and resolve.
Manual Invoicing
Refund Management
Work on Consolidation & Manual Invoicing Handle Mis-Direct Cash
VAT & bad debts accounting
Factoring
Validation and reporting on AR escalatables
Work with requestor to collect the miscellaneous invoices for AMS region.
Prepare KPI’s
Wells Fargo Invoice validation and upload
Quality Control through MEC JE bookings check & clearing
Independence:
Exercise independent judgment in daily activities within defined practices and procedures to determine appropriate action.
Follow established guidelines and interpret policies.
Leadership:
Act as an informed team member providing analysis of information and recommendations to support team efforts.
Education and Experience Required:
First level university degree with a focus in business or economics or equivalent experience is recommended.
1-5 years of experience in the required field.
Knowledge and Skills:
Good written and verbal communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
Basic accounting knowledge.
Good problem solving skills.
Familiarity with computers.
Basic prioritization skills.
Basic understanding of company's order management process.
Basic understanding of company's dispute management process.
Basic understanding of collection processes and financial concepts.
Basic influence skills.
