Your role at BHSN:
The School-Based Intake Coordinator is responsible for completing administrative, clerical, and organizational customer-service related tasks with a primary focus on school-based mental health services. Functions in the role of Administrative Assistant to the Program Director.
Work Schedule: Monday through Friday 8am to 4pm.

What your day might look like:
- Gather initial information from prospective service recipients and enter it into the proper software system
- Verify initial insurance information and maintain accurate and current insurance records and contact information
- Screen potential new service recipients for service
- Ensure documentation is completed according to state/federal regulations and organizational policies and procedures
- Compile monthly reports as requested
- Assist children and families to engage in services
- Coordinate services with school based clinicians and school district on site coordinators
- Liaise information between school districts and staff
- Coordinate off site meetings with community professionals
- Manage school based referrals from inpatient hospitals
- Track and route new and updated school memorandum of understandings
- Organize information for new satellite program applications
- Attend and record minutes for department meetings
- Provide backup coverage for SB Intake Specialists when needed
- Compliance review
- Support school based program as they collect data and track quality measures
- Perform other duties as assigned within context of job description
Your skills and qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree in business or related field preferred
- 1 year administrative/clerical experience required
- Strong communication and organizational skills required
- Strict adherence to HIPPA and confidentiality laws while maintaining professional boundaries with personal information
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Software
- Customer Service experience preferred
- Reliable transportation to transition between varying program sites required
- Ability to work a flexible schedule to accommodate the needs of the program and it’s service recipients
