We are looking for an IT Infrastructure Industrial Engagement Lead who is strategic, collaborative, and solutions-oriented to join us in our IT Infrastructure team, based in our Braine l’Alleud office in Brussels.

About the role

You will be working in a team that ensures UCB’s IT Infrastructure services support innovation, security, and performance across our global manufacturing sites. As IT Infrastructure Industrial Engagement Lead, you will oversee infrastructure alignment across key industrial projects, ensuring smooth integration of digital solutions and robust technology foundations.

Who you’ll work with

You will be working in a team that partners with cross-functional stakeholders from manufacturing, IT, security, and engineering, acting as a trusted advisor and program driver. Your role connects global infrastructure services with the evolving needs of our industrial landscape.

What you’ll do

• Drive the industrial IT infrastructure strategy across key global projects
• Align internal and external stakeholders around infrastructure requirements
• Identify technology needs and reconcile conflicting business inputs
• Lead cross-functional project planning, execution, and reporting
• Support CAPEX and OPEX budgeting for industrial infrastructure projects
• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends

Interested? For this role we’re looking for the following education, experience and skills

• 10+ years’ experience in global IT management, ideally in the pharma sector
• Strong experience managing IT projects in manufacturing environments
• Deep knowledge of infrastructure: servers, networks, virtualization, and firewalls
• Proven ability to lead complex programs and manage stakeholder alignment
• Skilled in project budgeting, reporting, and lifecycle planning
• Fluent in English and very good knowledge of French
