The Director, Supply Planning plays a critical role in ensuring the right products are available in the right places at the right time across Vuori’s network. This role is responsible for translating sales forecasts and promotional plans into efficient, timely, and cost-effective supply plans that support customer demand and minimize stockouts or overstocks. The ideal candidate has deep retail supply chain experience, is data-driven, and thrives in a fast-paced, high-SKU environment. 

What you'll get to do:

• Own the end-to-end supply planning process for the company, balancing availability and inventory turns. 
• Convert demand forecasts into optimized replenishment plans across channels. 
• Collaborate with merchants, demand planners, and vendors to align supply with demand, new product launches, and seasonal shifts. 
• Monitor inventory health and product flow, making timely adjustments based on sell-through, lead time variability, and vendor constraints. 
• Lead weekly and monthly supply planning reviews with cross-functional stakeholders. 
• Identify opportunities to improve in-stock rates, reduce excess inventory, and improve allocation efficiency. 
• Work closely with logistics and the supply chain team on a replenishment strategy and process. 
• Utilize retail planning systems and analytics tools to drive decision-making and scenario planning. 
• Build and develop a team of Supply Planners. 

Who you are:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Retail Management, or a related field (Master’s or APICS/CPIM certification is a plus) or equivalent years of experience preferred.  
• 10+ years of experience in supply planning, replenishment, or merchandise planning in a retail environment. 
• 7+ years of experience directly leading teams. 
• Strong proficiency with retail planning systems (e.g., Anaplan, Oracle Retail, JDA/Blue Yonder, SAP Retail). 
• Advanced Excel and data analysis skills; experience with analytics tools like Power BI, MicroStrategy or Tableau is preferred. 
• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills across supply chain, distribution and merchandising. 
• Strong understanding of retail inventory dynamics, vendor lead times, and omnichannel fulfillment. 
• Experience managing supply for seasonal, promotional, or fast-moving retail categories. 
• Ability to work in a high-SKU, high-velocity environment with frequent changes. 
• Comfortable making data-driven decisions and leading through ambiguity.

The salary range for this role is $173,000 per year - $205,000 per year. This role is bonus eligible.
