The Material Handler/Administrator is responsible for the safe storage and handling of Walpole products, and assisting the Customer Experience Manager (CEM) with the day-to-day operation of the local branch. They are to be professional, organized, a good communicator, and have a customer focus.

Requirements

• Operate a forklift to load/unload trailers and trucks, dispose of debris, and organize the display yard
• Receive product from vendors both physically and within Walpole’s ERP system, Sage
• Maintain a clean and organized storage yard and warehouse
  • Protect products from the weather
  • Call for dumpster removal
• Inventory management
• Conduct weekly cycle counts
• Process material transfers
• Requisition supplies such as hardware and concrete
• Schedule Selections (small products) orders
• Call customers to arrange warehouse pickups, deliveries, and installations
• Schedule deliveries of product to local showrooms
• Use Salesforce to record schedules and close out completed orders
• Picking orders and staging them
• Auditing of timecards as requested by CEM

Skills and Qualifications

• Ability to operate large and small forklifts – will train
• Data entry – will train
• Excellent Communication Skills with a customer focus
• Reliable/Can-do attitude and positive outlook
• High level of integrity and trustworthiness
