POSITION OVERVIEW:
Under the leadership of the Associate Directors of Network 6, the Program Coordinator of Community Connections & All Area Custom Design is responsible for the administrative and operational oversight of a Community Day Service (CDS) program and the daily operations of a small custom heat transfer and embroidery business, known as All Area Custom Design.
This dynamic role includes supervising staff, developing engaging curriculum and activity calendars for the CDS program, cultivating community volunteer opportunities, and ensuring high-quality, person-centered services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
In addition, the coordinator will independently manage the structure, customer relations, and operations of All Area Custom Design, including production scheduling, client outreach, and small business growth—an area that is separate from and independent of the CDS program.
Salary: $51,000
Shift: 8:00 am-4:30 pm M-F

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Community Day Services:
- Provide leadership and direct supervision to all assigned staff and program participants.
- Participate in the recruitment, training, evaluation, and scheduling of employees.
- Develop and implement program policies and procedures that support self-directed services and measurable outcomes.
- Conduct weekly team meetings to share updates, promote communication, and ensure alignment across services.
- Oversee the development and implementation of clinical plans; monitor progress toward goals and objectives.
- Maintain accurate documentation, complete monthly reports, and ensure compliance with agency policies.
- Support volunteer initiatives that enrich the local community, connecting individuals served with meaningful opportunities for civic engagement.
- Collaborate with other agency services, including supported employment and residential programs.
- Demonstrate and advocate for the agency’s mission, values, and principles.
All Area Custom Design (Independent Business Management):
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of a small heat transfer and embroidery business, including workflow, staff scheduling, and inventory.
- Develop and maintain client relationships, process custom orders, and ensure on-time delivery of high-quality products.
- Create and implement business processes that promote structure, efficiency, and growth.
- Provide supervision and guidance to any individuals involved in production, ensuring a balance between work training and quality standards.
- Lead marketing and outreach efforts to attract new customers, vendors, or collaborators.
- Monitor financial performance and report progress to leadership.
- Maintain clear separation between the responsibilities of business management and the CDS program operations.
- Produce monthly sales reports
- Assist with weekly deposits and invoice monitoring
SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Proficient in computer use and digital communication tools.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, particularly with independent project management.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Skilled in curriculum design, implementation, and instructional delivery.
- Knowledge of or willingness to learn garment production techniques (heat transfer, embroidery, etc.).
- Comfort with the Square, Excel, and invoice tracking/ reporting systems.
- Demonstrated leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.
- Comfortable engaging with community partners, volunteers, and business clients.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Ability to lift over 40 pounds unassisted from floor to waist.
- Capable of pushing/pulling loads up to 75 pounds.
- Able to perform deep knee squats and push wheelchairs weighing up to 200 pounds.
- Ability to remain seated or standing for prolonged periods.
- Frequent physical activity including driving, lifting, kneeling, crouching, reaching, and repetitive motion.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Services, Human Services, Business Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of one year of managerial experience.
- At least one year of experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
- Previous experience in small business operations, customer service, or production management is strongly preferred.
