About the Role
We’re seeking a passionate Community Registered Nurse to join our team, delivering high quality clinical services to NDIS participants. In this dynamic role, you’ll provide health assessments, develop care plans, deliver specialised training, and support participant independence through goal setting and skill development. You’ll also supervise and assess team members, contribute to staff development, and ensure care is delivered safely and in line with professional standards and CLO policies.
Key Contributions
- Deliver clinical services to NDIS participants, including health assessments, care planning and specialised training through service agreements.
- Provide hands-on nursing support and education to participants and staff, including areas such as medication assistance, epilepsy management, infection control, diabetes care and continence support.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to promote participant independence, establish care goals, and support self-care skill development.
- Drive the growth and development of Community Nursing at CLO.
- Supervise and assess team members to ensure quality care and contribute to staff development.
- Lead the development and delivery of internal training programs and competency assessments.
- Maintain accurate documentation and reporting aligned with NDIS and CLO requirements.
- Apply evidenced-based nursing practices and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure services are delivered in accordance with CLO policies, NDIS Practice Standards, and relevant legislation.
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders to support effective service delivery and participant outcomes.
- Promote participant safety, dignity, and inclusion through person-centred and rights-based approaches.
About You
We’re seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse who is passionate about person-centred care and committed to supporting individuals with disabilities to live their best lives. You’ll be confident working bot independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team, with strong clinical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to education and training. You’ll bring a commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement, and be aligned with CLO’s values of trust, kindness, inclusion, learning and connection.
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA
- Bachelor of Nursing (or equivalent)
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
- Current Drivers Licence
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Working with Children Check
