Regular Job Functions

· Greets patients and visitors pleasantly

· Process patient upon completion of appointment

· Collects co-payments, co-insurance, deductible and balances if not collected at check-in

· Reconciles daily patient payments

· Schedules follow-up patient appointments 

· Provides back-up coverage at check-in

· Provides back-up coverage for appointment scheduling

· Enters established patient demographics as necessary.

· Performs Chart Check on assigned providers

· Assist patients to exit the clinic area when needed.

Requirements

 Minimum of six months in a physician office setting performing check-in functions.
