So, what will the Recruiting Lead at Terrestris do?
The Talent Acquisition team collaborates with hiring teams to ensure the company is recruiting and hiring top talent to join the organization and represent our brand to clients, residents, and prospective residents and employees. Identifying, recruiting and hiring the right people for the right positions is critical to the success of our business.
Reporting to the CEO, the Recruiting Lead is responsible for full lifecycle recruiting of a high-volume bench of requisitions across multiple locations. This will be a hybrid schedule with remote work (Every Monday, Thursday, and Friday) and in office reporting to Springfield, VA (Every Tuesday & Thursday). In this role, the Recruiting Lead is an advisor to hiring managers on all aspects of the talent acquisition process, including recruitment strategy, candidate selection, compensation recommendations, and offer presentation.
What does a typical day look like for the Recruiting Lead?
You will:
- Effectively driving and managing the full lifecycle recruitment process in a high-volume setting for various federal agencies as well as proposal recruiting, and already secured active requisitions, including but not limited to creating job postings, sourcing, screening, reference checking, presenting and negotiating job offers, and managing applicant tracking.
- Identifying and clarifying hiring specifications, ensuring accurate and detailed job descriptions, and developing compelling job postings to attract candidates.
- Advising and aligning with hiring managers on effective sourcing strategies with the objective of presenting 3-5 qualified candidates for each opening.
- Demonstrating a variety of direct sourcing techniques (internet, social networking, personal networking, etc.) to identify passive candidates.
- Consistently managing a high volume of candidate activity in Terrestris applicant tracking system (ATS), maintaining compliance with policies and procedures, ensuring the system accurately and completely reflects each candidate’s journey through the recruiting process.
- Demonstrating a consistent level of quality in the due diligence of qualifying a candidate for hire via candidate screening, interview feedback, pre-hire checks, and candidate engagement.
- Adhering to all Terrestris hiring processes as well as procedures that ensure Terrestris remains in compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Participating in networking opportunities as appropriate.
- Promoting company and career opportunities in the community via social media and proactive engagement with local organizations or academic institutions.
- Delivering a best-in-class candidate experience from the first interaction to the last.
- Establishing strong professional relationships with hiring teams and regional leaders.
- Ensuring accurate reporting and documentation throughout all steps of the recruiting process.
- Contributing to TA-related projects and initiatives, as needed.
What qualifications do you look for?
You might be the professional we’re looking for if you have:
- Authorization to work in the United States permanently without sponsorship.
- A Bachelors degree required.
- Minimum of 1 year of recruiting experience required from staffing firm.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in human resources or operations leadership roles required.
- Mix of agency and corporate recruiting experience a plus.
- Healthcare recruitment is a plus
- Proven success managing full lifecycle recruitment efforts for multiple hiring managers in a diverse geographic area.
- Track record of high-volume staffing of entry-level and experienced professional hires; accustomed to managing the full lifecycle recruiting process.
- Proven ability to proactively work with hiring managers to understand needs and deliver timely results.
- Experience using an applicant tracking system as well as LinkedIn, Facebook, and other social recruiting platforms.
- Proven experience utilizing proactive direct sourcing techniques.
- Demonstrated ability to develop relationships with colleagues and stakeholders, e.g., candidates, residents, customers, clients.
- Skilled at managing multiple demands and effectively prioritizing the workload to deliver results.
- Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
