About the Role

Wolff Construction is hiring an Assistant Superintendent to help drive day-to-day field operations on multifamily projects. You’ll partner closely with the Project Superintendent to keep safety, schedule, and quality on track from site mobilization through punch and closeout.

What You’ll Do

• Run the day: Coordinate daily field activities, subcontractors, and site logistics.
• Own the details: Maintain schedules, punch lists, RFIs, and field documentation.
• Lead safety: Enforce jobsite safety protocols and ensure OSHA compliance.
• Deliver quality: Oversee assigned scopes to meet plans, specs, and inspection standards.
• Keep materials moving: Assist with takeoffs, deliveries, inventory, and tracking.
• Partner with inspectors & municipalities: Support inspections and permit requirements.
• Communicate clearly: Support the field office with updates to supers, PMs, and trade partners.

Requirements

 What You Bring

• Construction &/or engineering coursework preferred
• 2+ years field experience in multifamily construction
• Ability to read plans/specs and monitor work against them
• Working knowledge of construction sequencing, safety, and scheduling
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Procore/Bluebeam a plus)
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and follow-through
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
