SUMMARY

We are seeking a skilled Adcole Operator to join our team. This position will be assigned to a 12-hour, night shift schedule. Responsibilities include performing timing analysis, surface finish, Rollscan (Barkhausen), CMM, and linear measurement checks, and performing programming for Adcole and CMM equipment to complete additional quality certification training as required. 

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSABILITIES

Reviews and follows Safety policies and procedures.

  • Interprets engineering drawings, schematic diagrams, or formulas and confers with Supervisor, Quality and Engineering to ensure correct parts testing using automated measurement equipment.
  • Perform and support development of programs for automated inspection in camshafts or segments.
  • Ensures programs are available for each part number for automated testing, including Adcole, CMM, Aumman, Barkhausen and any other MAHLE RUS may develop or acquire in the future, as applicable and requests Supervisor for new programs or assistance in developing them as needed.
  • Records test data, applying statistical quality control procedures.
  • Performs receiving inspection of pins and other assemble components as directed by Supervisor.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • 1 or more years of manufacturing experience, preferred.
  • Ability to use instruments for measuring and identifying defects.
  • Self-motivated; ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently and to prioritize multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Knowledge/Experience in manufacturing processes.
  • Ability to read, write, and verbalize instructions in English.
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).

 

Pay Scale: $19.91 – $22.50 per hour starting wages

Additional pay for night shift: $0.60 per hour

Job Type: Full-time

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week

Schedule:

  • 12-hour shifts are rotating shifts (4 on, 3 off - 3 off, 4 on)
  • Night shift (7pm - 7am)
  • Overtime
