Oxford Preparatory Academy’s (Oxford Prep) vision is to create a center for higher learning where students from transitional kindergarten to eighth grade are prepared to pursue university level academic studies, as well as gain skills to be successful in the global community of the 21st century. Must possess a single subject foreign language credential in Mandarin, a Supplementary Authorization in Mandarin, or Introductory Subject Matter Authorization in Mandarin. Under the direction of the site administrator, teach and instruct pupils in grades K-5 or 6-8, in academic, social, behavioral, and other educational skill areas; plan, develop, organize, and conduct a comprehensive World language educational program in accordance with each student’s abilities; and assist in other school programs as assigned. Possession of, or ability to obtain, an appropriate California Teaching Credential, with the authorization to teach world language to elementary and middle school students, with a CLAD Emphasis or English Language Learner Authorization.

Range $61,337 - $95,493 (based on education and experience) plus CalSTRS membership and health benefits. Up to 10 years maximum service credit given.
