As a member of the Mountain Sports team, you are responsible for helping promote the sport of Mountain Biking while coaching participants ages 7 & up, providing excellent guest service that will exceed our guest's expectations, and enhance their mountain sports experience in an atmosphere of safety, fun, and learning. Coaching is about more than just being good at your sport. The successful Mountain Sports coach must also have the ability to communicate effectively with guests and fellow team members, share a passion for learning, and demonstrate the desire to include everyone in our action sports community.

Essential Functions & Major Responsibilities 

  • Coach high quality lessons as trained, demonstrating a balance of technical, teaching, and people skills 

  • Organize lessons based on guests desired outcomes, safety considerations and daily conditions. 

  • Promote a culture of safety for fellow team members and guests through coaching behavior and decision making. 

Technical Skills 

  • Effective, friendly communication  

  • Strong understanding of MTB trends, techniques and skills  

  • Ability to ride a bicycle and demonstrate techniques appropriate to the level of the students
