About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations of our onsite student health clearance clinics across the Greater New York City area. These clinics provide essential medical clearances for students entering nursing and allied health programs at partner colleges.

The Operations Manager will ensure smooth clinic operations, compliance with medical protocols, and a positive experience for staff and students. This is both a strategic and hands-on role requiring coordination with academic administrators, clinical staff, and our corporate operations team.

📌 Note: Reliable transportation (public transit or personal vehicle) is required, as travel to multiple clinic sites is expected 2–4 times per week.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary liaison between academic institutions, corporate operations, clinical staff, and students.

  • Coordinate with partner colleges to prepare for upcoming clinics.

  • Oversee daily operations of multiple onsite clearance clinics across NYC boroughs.

  • Manage scheduling, staffing, and supply chain logistics across clinic sites.

  • Ensure proper administration of vaccines (Tdap, Hepatitis B, MMR, seasonal flu, Rabies for vet tech programs).

  • Oversee and support TB skin testing (PPD) and IGRA blood test procedures.

  • Manage urine drug test collection in line with regulatory requirements.

  • Supervise phlebotomy services and ensure professional, safe practice.

  • Coordinate mask fit testing and ensure compliance with health and safety standards.

  • Track clinic performance, maintain accurate records, and report outcomes.

  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, CLIA, and institutional requirements.

  • Troubleshoot operational issues and implement process improvements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Nursing, or related field (or equivalent experience).

  • 5+ years of healthcare operations, clinic coordination, or related role.

  • Familiarity with vaccine administration, TB testing, specimen collection, and basic medical procedures.

  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills; proven ability to manage multiple priorities.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.

  • Knowledge of compliance standards (HIPAA, OSHA, CLIA) strongly preferred.

  • Ability and willingness to travel to multiple NYC sites 2–4 days per week.
