About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Operations Manager to lead the daily operations of our onsite student health clearance clinics. These clinics support colleges across the Greater Los Angeles area and provide essential medical clearances for students entering nursing and allied health programs.
As Operations Manager, you will oversee clinic logistics, ensure compliance with medical protocols, and create a positive experience for staff and students. This role is both strategic and hands-on, requiring strong coordination with college administrators, clinical staff, and our corporate operations team.
📌 Note: Reliable transportation is required, as travel to clinic sites is expected 2–4 times per week.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the primary liaison between academic institutions, corporate operations, clinical staff, and students.
Coordinate with college administrators and corporate teams to prepare for upcoming clinics.
Oversee day-to-day operations of multiple onsite clearance clinics, ensuring efficiency and adherence to standards.
Manage scheduling, staffing, and supply chain logistics across clinic sites.
Ensure proper administration of vaccines (Tdap, Hepatitis B, Rabies, MMR) and seasonal flu shots.
Oversee and support TB skin testing (PPD) and IGRA blood test procedures.
Manage urine drug test collection in line with regulatory guidelines.
Supervise phlebotomy services (blood draws) and ensure professional, safe practice.
Coordinate mask fit testing and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Maintain accurate records, monitor clinic performance, and report outcomes to leadership.
Ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, CLIA, and institutional requirements.
Troubleshoot operational issues and implement process improvements.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Nursing, or related field (or equivalent experience).
5+ years of experience in healthcare operations, clinic coordination, or related role.
Familiarity with vaccine administration, specimen collection, and basic medical testing procedures.
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills; able to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; proven ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
Knowledge of compliance standards (HIPAA, OSHA, CLIA) strongly preferred.
Willingness and ability to travel frequently to clinic sites (2–4 times per week).
