We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Sr. Accounting Analyst to support our North America Finance & Accounting team. This role is critical in managing the day-to-day accounting operations of our manufacturing business in the region. The Accounting Analyst will collaborate closely with operations, supply chain, and finance teams to deliver meaningful insights into costs, inventory, and overall financial performance.
Reporting to the International Accounting Manager and supporting the North America Accounting Manager, this position ensures accurate and timely financial reporting. Responsibilities include account reconciliations, financial analysis, month-end close support, cost review, and other related tasks.
In addition, this role is responsible for supporting the company’s U.S. tax compliance by working closely with external advisors to ensure timely and accurate filing of all tax returns. Duties include preparing and validating financial data, maintaining documentation, monitoring regulatory changes, and assisting with tax audits and inquiries.
The position is based in Itaim Bibi, São Paulo, with a hybrid work schedule.
Responsabilidades:- Financial Reconciliations: Prepare and review account reconciliations, bank reconciliations, and accruals; Review and Reconcile Intercompany Balances;
- Accounting Close Process: Support Month-End close via Journal Entries (JE's), Account Reconcilations, Accruals, meeting company deadline;
- General Ledger Support: Verify, classify, and record financial transactions. Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
- Reporting and Analysis: Assist with cost analysis for production and material expenses specific to the labeling and manufacturing processes.
- Identify trends and potential areas for cost improvement.
- Compliance and Audits: Support external auditors and ensure compliance with all accounting standards.
- Internally ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and financial regulations.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with operations and production teams to support cost controls and budgeting.
- Partner with other business functions to align financial results with business activities.
- U.S. tax compliance: Overseeing the company’s U.S. tax compliance process. Coordination with external tax advisors for the preparation, review, and filing of federal, state, and local tax returns
Gathering and validating financial data for tax filings, reconciling tax-related accounts, and maintaining supporting documentation.
Assisting with responses to inquiries from tax authorities and supporting internal and external audits related to tax matters.
Monitoring tax regulatory updates to ensure ongoing compliance.

Qualificações:- Bachelor Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
- 3+ years of accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles (US GAAP/IFRS)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel;
- Advanced/Fluent English;
- Demonstrated ability to meet tight deadlines while maintaining accuracy
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
- Proactive mindset with a focus on process improvement and efficiency
- High level of integrity and ability to handle confidential information
