The Position:
We're looking for passionate Resident Aides who strive to provide quality and service excellence in a brand new, fast paced, team environment. Resident Aides are responsible for:
- Assist residents with their physical needs including positioning, feeding, transporting, transferring and toileting, ambulating, personal hygiene, and dressing.
- Assist with housekeeping duties as assigned.
- Assist with activities and appointments when required and/or transport resident to scheduled activity.
- Review resident care plans as required.
Free Course Instruction with Full-time or Part-Time Employment:
- Course schedule to commence October/November 2025, evening class scheduled 10/27/25-11/21/25 or day class scheduled 11/3/25-11/20/25.
- Duration: 3 week Nurse Aide Training Program with 100 hours, in-person instruction.
- Location: Healthcare Training & Career Consultants, 2130 North King St, Honolulu, Hawaii
- Course instruction provided by Healthcare Training & Career Consultants Inc.
- Work as a Resident Aide will commence following program completion at Hale O Meleana, Honolulu, Hawaii.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent / Minimum age 18.
- Satisfactory completion of Nurse Aide Training Program.
- Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) preferred following course completion
- Commit to one (1) year employment as a Full-time or Part-time Resident Aide.
