What You’ll Do: 

  • Oversee the acquisition, renewal, and maintenance of all company and individual licenses required for Field Service operations, including State business and contractor licenses and Elevator mechanic licenses and certification.
  • Track expiration dates and ensure timely submission of renewals, applications, and supporting documentation.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all licensing requirements across multiple states and jurisdictions.
  • Research and interpret state and local regulations to ensure ongoing compliance with changing laws.
  • Collaborate with Field Service leadership and Operations to ensure employees maintain required individual licenses and certifications.
  • Coordinate exam scheduling, continuing education requirements, and testing documentation for licensed personnel.
  • Prepare and submit applications, renewals, and supporting documents to regulatory agencies.
  • Serve as the point of contact with state boards, licensing agencies, and contractors’ boards regarding licensing inquiries, audits, and compliance matters.
  • Maintain a comprehensive licensing calendar, workflows, and process documentation.
  • Provide reporting to management on license status, compliance risks, and upcoming deadlines.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing accurate licensing documentation.


What You’ll Bring: 

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years of experience in regulatory compliance, licensing administration, or related field preferred.
  • Knowledge of contractor or elevator mechanic licensing processes preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines across various jurisdictions.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent record-keeping and documentation skills.
  • Ability to research, interpret, and apply state and local regulations.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and experience with tracking databases.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with field personnel, leadership, and regulatory agencies.
  • Ability to work independently and manage sensitive information with confidentiality.
