Now we’re searching for a Director of Operations, Houston who can bring big-picture leadership and hands-on hospitality to guide our Houston restaurants to the next level.
As Director of Operations, you’ll be the connector between vision and execution—leading our team to deliver exceptional guest experiences, operational excellence, and people-first culture. You’ll roll up your sleeves, coach leaders, and ensure that our Houston locations embody the Atlas standard of excellence every single day.
You’ll spend time on the floor, in the community and in strategy sessions—balancing analytics with artistry, and people leadership with business results. Think of yourself as both a hospitality strategist and a culture champion.
What You’ll Do
- Be the role model of Atlas Core Values—leading with hospitality, integrity, and passion.
- Drive operational excellence in both front and back of house while keeping guest experiences at the forefront.
- Coach and develop General Managers & Executive Chefs, helping them translate business goals into daily execution.
- Oversee P&L performance, labor analysis, inventory, and strategic budgeting.
- Partner with corporate leadership on company-wide initiatives, ensuring Houston leads the way in performance and culture.
- Champion talent development by growing internal leaders and attracting top external candidates.
- Stay present and connected with your teams by actively working shifts, pre-shifts, and engaging directly with guests and staff.
- Use data and analytics to spot trends, solve challenges, and drive continuous improvement.
- Safeguard safety, compliance, and positive working conditions across all properties.
