AVAILABLE POSITION – HEALTH ASSISTANT (Part Time)

Location – New Ulm Middle School, 414 S Payne Street, New Ulm, Minnesota

Job Summary – The health assistant supports the school nurse in delivering first aid to students who are sick or injured, conducting hearing and vision screenings, and participating in programs that maintain care standards across the district.

Qualifications – The health assistant must be up to date with first aid and CPR certifications. It is advisable for the individual to possess an educational background in the health field.

Start Date – As agreed upon; 2025-26 School Year

Hours – To be determined, part time position

Compensation Package – Position Classification B-21 offers a wage of $17.94 - $21.24 per hour, based on experience. Additionally, a prorated benefits package is available that includes health insurance, life insurance, long-term disability, dental insurance, vision insurance, and 403b retirement plan.
