As our Spa Supervisor, you’ll guide a dedicated team, create a welcoming retreat for guests, and help us uphold our reputation as the friendliest casino resort in the region. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Oversee spa operations.
- Greet Guests, answer incoming telephone calls, and book appointments.
- Ensure compliance with company and departmental procedures.
- Supervise activities of team members to ensure optimum guest services and positive guest interactions.
- Promote all spa programs and activities.
- Walk through spa facility ensure proper supplies and amenities in locker rooms and relaxation lounge.
- Understand and use universal precautions and sanitary procedures.
- Address and resolve guest and team member concerns in the spa or refer them to the Spa Manager.
- Inform spa team members of any changes to promotions, policies, procedures, etc. at the beginning of every shift.
- Assist in the development of weekly schedules for the spa department.
- Assist with handling payroll duties with accuracy adhering to timelines.
- Available to perform spa services not to exceed 50% of their time.
- Maintain a high quality of guest services according to LCCR 7 Waterways of Guest Service and Mission Statement.
Additional Duties and Supervisory Responsibilities
- Establish relationships with the guest and the community.
- Participate in resort wide marketing activities to stimulate consumer awareness and bookings.
- Monitor and measure service levels, ensure team members meet or exceed standards.
- Work with vendors and facilities team to schedule and complete needed repairs promptly.
- Supervise all spa team members
- Comply with all company policies, industry rules & regulations and applicable laws.
- Assist with ongoing skill training and improve team member competence.
- Help establish team member service, treatment, product sale goals.
- Help perform team member evaluations and developmental plans.
- Create a motivating environment of fun for team members and guests.
- Maintain a constant running list of weekly tasks and delegate to employees.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements
Education and Experience:
- Two (2) years of prior Spa or other Hospitality business supervisory experience required.
- Two (2) years of Technical Skills Experience in a spa setting.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
- Class II Gaming License issued from the Squaxin Island Gaming Commission.
- Current and valid Massage, Esthetician or Cosmetology license from State of Washington, preferred.
