About the Role

The Director of Corporate Relations is responsible for developing and executing HFLW’s corporate partnerships and donor communications strategy. This role focuses on executing a corporate partnership strategy, increasing corporate partnerships and engagement, securing corporate sponsorships and support, and enhancing HFLW’s visibility with corporate partners. The Director will cultivate new corporate partnerships while strengthening existing relationships, collaborating closely with HFLW’s internal marketing team to ensure corporate engagement aligns with the organization’s messaging and branding.

Corporate Partnerships & Sponsorships

  • Cultivate, secure, and manage new corporate partnerships and sponsorships, with a focus on long-term, year-round commitments.
  • Lead corporate fundraising initiatives, driving all corporate sponsorships, supporting, cultivating, and leading of $50,000 and above, and develop formal agreements covering marketing, branding, hospitality, volunteerism, special events, and experiential benefits.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key corporate partners, ensuring renewal of existing partnerships while pursuing new opportunities.
  • Develop and lead a comprehensive corporate partnership strategy that aligns with The Home’s mission and growth goals, with a focus on Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and New York business communities.
  • Cultivate, grow, and steward strategic relationships with corporate partners to expand engagement, deepen collaboration, and secure long-term support.
  • Increase corporate funding support by identifying new opportunities, preparing tailored partnership proposals, and negotiating sponsorships, grants, and cause-marketing initiatives.

Strategic Donor Communications & Public Relations

  • Design and implement a strategic communications plan to enhance public awareness and support for HFLW through partnerships, sponsorships, and public relations efforts.
  • Collaborate with the internal marketing and communications team to ensure corporate engagement strategies are aligned with HFLW’s branding, while supporting external awareness efforts.
  • Actively represent The Home in external corporate networks and associations across Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and New York to strengthen presence, build influence, and open doors to new partnerships.
  • Enhance The Home’s visibility and reputation within regional business communities through networking, thought leadership, and corporate engagement events.

Marketing & Branding Strategy

  • Work with the internal marketing team to identify new opportunities for promoting corporate engagement, leveraging aligned branding and promotional strategies.
  • Serve as the liaison between internal teams, external agencies, vendors, and corporate marketing departments to ensure consistent messaging and impactful partnership deliverables.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with program and marketing/comms teams to design innovative partnership opportunities that advance both corporate partners’ social impact goals and The Home’s mission.

Campaign Strategy & Execution

  •  Partner with the Chief Development Officer and Development team to strategize and execute annual fundraising campaigns, focusing on securing and retaining corporate sponsors to drive philanthropic revenue.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Nonprofit Management, or related field; Master’s preferred.
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in corporate partnerships, fundraising, or external relations.
  • Deep understanding of corporate philanthropy, marketing, and nonprofit branding.
  • Exceptional relationship-building and negotiation skills, with a talent for cultivating new business relationships.
  • Experience in strategic planning and campaign execution, with a focus on corporate sponsorships and donor engagement.
  • Ability to influence and collaborate with internal marketing teams, and build relationships in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
