Schedule: Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm

What You’ll Do:

• Create and refine building electrical drawing packages focused on manufacturability, client specifications, functionality, and regulatory standards.
   
• Support operations by releasing drawings and technical packages on schedule.
   
• Requisition materials to align with production timelines.
   
• Direct integration teams during installation of panelboards, transformers, switchgear, cable trays, and grounding systems.
   
• Ensure compliance with the latest National Electrical Code (NEC) for industrial buildings.
   
• Reduce cycle times by leveraging existing building design information and driving process improvements.
   
• Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to deliver accurate, efficient designs.

What You Bring:

Education & Certifications

• High School Diploma/GED (required).
   
• Journeyman or Master Electrician’s License (required).
   
• AutoCAD certification or proven competency (required).
   
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (preferred).
   

Experience & Skills

• 2+ years of electrical design experience with industrial systems and power distribution equipment (Required).
   
• 2+ years of hands-on installation experience with conduit, cabling, and cable tray systems (Required).
   
• Strong problem-solving skills; able to work independently with integrity and attention to detail.
   
• Knowledge of:
   
  • Engineering and technology principles.
     
  • Production processes, materials, and quality control.
     
  • Design techniques, drawings, and models.
     
  • NEC standards for industrial environments.
     
  • CAD software (AutoCAD) and Microsoft Office Suite.
     
• Communication skills to interpret technical documents and write clear reports.
   
• Intermediate math skills (calculations, measurements, proportions).
   

Physical Demands

• Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 lbs.
   
• Requires the ability to sit, stand, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and reach with hands and arms.
   
• Must have adequate hearing, vision, and communication skills to perform job duties.
   
• Regular use of hands for typing, handling materials, and operating tools or equipment.
   

Working Conditions

• Work is performed primarily in an office environment.
   
• Regular use of computers, phones, printers, and other standard office equipment.

Requirements
