Butcher / Meat Cutter

As a Meat Cutter, you will be responsible for preparing and cutting meat products to meet our high standards of quality and safety, ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining a clean, organized work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Cut, trim, and prepare various types of meat according to specifications and safety standards

- Ensure all meat products are properly stored, labeled, and rotated

- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, tools, and equipment

- Assist customers with selecting meat products and provide excellent service

- Follow all safety and health regulations related to meat handling and processing

- Monitor inventory levels and communicate needs for restocking

- Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding quality control and safety

Skills and Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a butcher or meat cutter preferred

- Knowledge of meat cutting techniques and safety standards

- Ability to operate meat processing equipment safely

- Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity

- Good communication and customer service skills

- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

- Physical stamina and strength to handle heavy loads and stand for extended periods

- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications are a plus
