We are seeking an experienced Leave/HR administrator to support our leave programs company-wide and the Denver and Lone Tree offices day-to-day, ensuring our employees receive the service and guidance they need. Our ideal teammate will have a strong background in leave administration to include state, federal and corporate leave programs; experience with new employee orientation; be a great communicator and have an “all hands on deck” mindset.
This is a full-time position eligible for a hybrid work arrangement after the first few months of training. After the training period, the HR Administrator will be required to be in the downtown Denver office for a minimum of three days per week (ECO Pass provided) and will be required to travel to the Lone Tree office at least monthly. Training will require some travel to the Colorado Springs office.

Salary Range: $32.00 - $36.00 per hour plus participation in our bonus program. The expected starting salary range for this position is displayed in accordance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act. The final agreed upon compensation is based on individual experience, qualifications, and education.
Summary: The Human Resources/Leave Administrator assigned to the Denver office supports corporate and office-specific human resources functions. The HR Administrator will be responsible for leave administration company-wide, assisting employees and supervisors through the leave process and liaising with the third-party provider. The HR Administrator will also support the new hire orientation and onboarding process as well as provide day-to-day HR support for employees.
Essential Functions:
- Cultivate a positive and welcoming work environment through superior customer service to employees and facilitating/participating in various employee engagement initiatives.
- Leave administration: respond to employees’ requests for leave, educate employees and supervisors on leave policies, ensure completion of all required forms, respond to requests from leave policy providers, track employee leaves, assist employees with leave questions and escalate as needed.
- Conduct New Employee Orientation (NEO) for Denver and Lone Tree hires. Provide back up to other locations (in-person in Colorado Springs or remotely for other locations).
- Coordinate with third-party IT provider to facilitate new employee IT onboarding and terminated employee offboarding.
- May assist with accurately entering new hires, terminations, promotions, and other employee changes into payroll/HRIS (ADP Workforce Now) and ERP system.
- Provide day-to-day support for employees’ questions regarding HR issues.
- Conduct 9-month surveys and exit interviews and distribute feedback to HR team and supervisor.
- Assist with enrollment of benefits for new hires and open enrollment administration.
- Support HR projects such as continuous improvement initiatives and new program development and administration.
- May attend Colorado-based career fairs.
- Generate reports as scheduled or requested ad hoc from ADP and ERP.
- Provide HR updates in monthly Denver office staff meetings.
- Provide back-up to Executive Administrator with ECO pass administration.
- Create and/or maintain operating procedures for all performed functions.
- Participate in company-wide committees.
- Provide occasional administrative support to HR leadership or corporate leadership team members.
- Assist with general office administration duties as needed.

- Thorough understanding of benefit programs including high-deductible health plans and various other health and wellness plans.
- In depth understanding of leave laws and procedures to include but not be limited to FMLA, disability, military and state leave programs.
- Thorough understanding of HR policies and employment laws.
- Ability to prioritize work effectively and meet deadlines.
- Current driver license and acceptable driving record (MVR will be required).
- Ability to travel as necessary. Travel required between Colorado offices and occasionally to colleges/universities for career fairs.
Education, Knowledge and Experience:
- Minimum of seven (7) years of direct HR experience to include at least three (3) years of leave administration and three (3) years of experience with new employee orientation, benefits administration or support, employee engagement, and supporting supervisors with personnel issues. Note that this is not a recruitment position and recruiting experience without the above additional experience will not meet the minimum requirement.
- HR experience in a professional services environment/AEC industry is preferred.
- Experience with ADP Workforce Now preferred.
- High school diploma required, degree in HR or related field a plus.
- Valid driver's license, in conjunction with successfully passing the Company’s MVR requirements.
